Shankar drops Indian-2, kick-starts underwater thriller?


Kamal Haasan and director Shankar have reunited after 20 years for the film ‘Indian 2’, which was earlier their ‘Indian’ in 1996. The film is produced by Lyca Productions that was supposed to take off nearly before couple of years for the official announcement involving the movie was made on the Grand Finale of Bigg Boss Season 1.

However, the project got shelved due to one or the other reasons. Aftermath, the film took off with a formal pooja, which was immediately shelved due to the reasons owing that Kamal Haasan turned allergic towards some prosthetic makeup. It is now said that Shankar and Kamal Haasan have decided to resume the shooting by mid of May, which again might turn out to be a doubtful fare.

It is said that Shankar has already started working on the pre-production works for his other magnum opus, which is an underwater thriller. The film is expected to have Pan-Indian superstars along with Hollywood icons like Jackie Chan as well. Let us wait and watch whether what’s going to happen for first. The Pan-Indian thriller is expected to have Hrithik Roshan and even Chiyaan Vikram onboard.
