Pa Ranjith clarifies on Rajinikanth playing Don Mirza Haji Mastan: Soon after the grand success of Kabali, which spanned an unbelievable scenario in the world of promotions including the country’s first ever hero to be projected upon the flights, it made the entire global spotlights turned upon the movie.
But what us much more spellbound was the screen presence of Rajinikanth as a 65-yr old don in the movie, where his life was bounded to emotional reunion with his family members and during the interim had to settle scores with the wrongdoers in Malaysia.
Following the tremendous results, the official confirmation was made that both Rajinikanth and Pa. Ranjith are coming together for one more film, which will start rolling by this June.
The film is apparently produced by Rajinikanth’s son-in-law Dhanush, who recently made his debut directorial with Pa Pandi.
There were recent buzzes claiming that Rajinikanth might be playing the role of a powerful don in real life named Mirza Haji Mastan who lived and dominated Mumbai travelling all the way from Cuddalore in Tamil Nadu.
He was known for his fantabulous lifestyle with luxurious appeal. When approached Ranjith regarding this clarified, he claimed that there is no truth about it and he plays a different role from his erstwhile movies.
