‘Rum’ opens up to mixed reviews: Debut filmmaker Sai Bharath’s ‘Rum’ has been keeping high on expectations for a very long time and finally hit the screens today.
The film is produced by All in All Pictures with Shri Sai Circuit 6000 releasing it in Tamil Nadu. The film features VIP fame Hrishikesh, Sanchitha Shetty, Amzath Khan and Vivek in lead roles alongside Narain and Miya George in important roles.
Much importantly, the film’s musical score by Anirudh was highly on expectations, especially for the song ‘Hola Amigo’.
However, the film’s review seems to be coming down mixed. It is reported to be a horror heist movie, which doesn’t scare audiences at any point of time nor does it have any rib-tickling moments.
On the performance, it’s just Miya George who gives her best rendition, but others in the cast have failed to deliver their best show. Narain is okay and he should have been utilized properly.
When it comes to technical front, the film has nothing in special except background by Anirudh in few places while cinematography and editing look so amateurish.
