Amisha Patel is the daughter of Amit and Asha Patel and the sister of Ashmit Patel. For her undergraduate studies, she attended Tufts University, in Medford, Massachusetts. After graduation, she worked for Goldman Sachs.She joined Satyadev Dubey’s theatre group and began acting in plays. In 2000, she appeared in her first movie, Kaho Naa… Pyaar Hai, as Sonia, opposite Hrithik Roshan.
