This week 5 Movies
Top 5 Tamil Movies of the week (09/June/2008)

1.    Santhosh Subramaniam -  A remake movie doesn't require any creativity and the same goes with Jayam Ravi. Since most of the masses haven't watched the Telugu movie Bommarillu, this has been liked by all.

2.    Kuruvi Not exactly a hit movie, it holds this position just because there is any other flicks. Vijay does well in dance and comedy scenes, but there isn't anything special to speak about him. Dharani has to meet the fate of disappointment if doesn't come up with something different.

3.    Kaathavarayan Karan makes a  good comeback with this film that has a good message for all the masses. Credit goes to Director Salangai Durai for blending messages with a commercial flick.

4.    Arasangam Hollywood flicks like Hunted and Bone Collector should have really inspired Director Madhesh. Vijayakanth gets a good break with this subject of murder-mystery.

5.    Pandi- Falling on the lines of old emotional themes, the film has nothing to do special and it's a C grade entertainer for front benchers…

Top 5 Tamil Movies of the week (12/May/2008)

1 - Kuruvi Though the film lets down the hopes for all of us, the film has made it at the top position, since there are no movies to compete with. Vijay with his dance and comedy tracks with Vivek entertains you. But nothing great with his stunts and Dharani has completely failed with loose and weak screenplay.

2 - Arasangam Captain Vijayakanth after Ramana strikes back with stunning and naturalistic performance. There is no room for him to capture the terrorists or cleanse the politics, but it's a complete fiction of murder mystery. Hats off to Director Madhesh for a good work…

3 - Santhosh Subramaniam If Warner Bros are known for producing best movies, Raja and Ravi can be considered Remake Bros. Their fourth remake is a big success and don't expect any innovativeness here.

4 - Yaaradi Nee Mohini Selvaraghavan and Dhanush under RK Productions have presented with a movie with moderate effort. Nayanthara's gorgeous looks and Raghuvaran's role are the major highlights of the movie.

5 - Arai En 305il Kadavul Bruce Almighty had Morgan Freeman donning the role of God and Prakash Raj does in Tamil. Grabbing the theme from this Hollywood film, the director implements good messages for the audiences. So nice off Director Simbhu Devan.

Top 5 Tamil Movies of the week (05/May/2008)

Kuruvi – though not a perfect flick from the Ghilli team, the film has anything special for the audiences especially in the second half. Vijay's dance and performance is a great job, while excess of stunts spoils the mood of film.

Santhosh Subramaniam- A remake of Telugu Movie Bommarillu does good collections in Kodambakkam. No matter in remaking the movie, but its so stupid to do a copy-cat work with even the costumes and props in the screen.

Yaaradi Nee Mohini – Another Telugu remake in the town. The film is a romantic family entertainer. Dhanush with a naturalistic performance and Nayanthara's bubbly looks are the main highlights of the film. Music is something not up to the expected levels.

Arai En 305il Kadavul-  A comedy movie with good message makes this film look great. Despites the film not making good collections in the box-office, it is sure to be liked by all and especially can be enjoyed watching along with your family.

Nepali – Waste of time is all that we have got to say about watching this movie. Lengthy dragging screenplay spoils the film and Bharath's performance is the only relief.
